Author’s Notes: I wanted to keep it open enough to be able to fit anywhere into season 2 (after the appearance of Angelus) without a lot of added explanation or addition to existing episodes.  (Which is good, since the word count didn’t leave a lot of room for detail.) 

 

“Buffy is running through the hospital. Her face is cut and she looks like she’s been crying. Her leather jacket sways with every burst of an opening door. She stops as she sees the stretcher ahead. She breathes heavily looking at who is on it…”

Author’s Notes: I’m not completely sure that this (a potential Slayer having the Slayer dreams before her activation) is widely accepted/accurate BtVS mythology, but I couldn’t find anyone around to confirm/deny it as I was writing so I decided to go with it anyway.  Even if it’s not entirely accurate I hope it makes for fun reading.  It’s obviously not a very long fic, really more of a drabble.  It would be the equivalent of a scene in a full-length episode, probably.

Deja Vu

Author’s Notes: This was originally written for a fanfic challenge.  The prompt was to rewrite the episode “Tabula Rasa,” as if you’d turned to sound off when watching.  A note of clarification: I use their original names (created by Joss) in all the non-dialogue parts of the story.  I use the names that they either found on identification or chose themselves only when necessary in dialogue.  I started by looking at the transcript on TwizTV, but as I continued was able to leave that behind and just let my muse guide me.
